Double‑Girder Hoist: Two girders, provides higher lifting capacity, allows for larger hook heights, more rigidity. Monorail Hoist: Fixed single track/rail; used where travel path is predefined, possibly curved. Monorails often used in foundries, workshops etc. With or Without Travel / Trolley: Some hoists are fixed, others are attached to trolleys / carriages that move side to side or along a runway.
